My first ever attempt at cooking short ribs was a huge success! To be sure, these short ribs are a labor of love with a cook time of four plus hours. These short ribs are so deeply flavorful but also very rich. A little goes along way. Departing from the traditional red wine braise, this recipe relies on the sweet and tangy combo of honey, apple cider vinegar, and tamari to deglaze the pot. Serve over creamy polenta, a smooth bed of mashed potatoes, or even some fluffy rice. Recipe adapted from Alison Roman.
